2 Day Conciliation Skills Workshop In-House Event

Hosted by a NSW Ombudsman Shiv is offering a two-day in-person workshop aimed at enhancing the skills of conciliation team staff and other dispute resolution officers. The training will focus on conflict resolution strategies and effective communication techniques necessary for resolving disputes within a regulatory or Ombudsman context. Participants will gain practical tools and strategies to improve their capacity, confidence, and the quality of resolutions. The workshop will be tailored to the specific needs and objectives of the organization through stakeholder consultation and pre-course customization. Interactive role-play and scenario activities will provide hands-on practice in conciliation scenarios, while learning materials including process maps, suggested phrases, and case studies will be provided for ongoing staff training. The workshop will be delivered over two full days, totalling 7 hours of content per day. Attendees can expect a comprehensive and interactive training experience to enhance their conciliation skills and achieve consistent, high-quality resolutions.
