Why this program exists

Organisations regularly invest in conflict support: a mediation, a group workshop, a short series of coaching sessions. Each has value, yet in isolation these interventions rarely shift the dial. Tensions subside briefly, then re-emerge in another form.

Conflict within diverse, high-pressure teams is complex and difficult to predict, and is seldom resolved by a single intervention. Durable change requires attention to three dimensions in parallel: legal compliance, the wellbeing of those involved, and organisational outcomes.

 

Leading Through Conflict is designed to address all three, over time. It is a structured, independent space to build the skill, confidence and clarity to lead through conflict well.

What's included? 

Investment: $2,800 (ex GST) for 12 months.

  • Five one-on-one coaching sessions: Confidential sessions tailored to the real situations you are navigating, with a coach matched to you.
     

  • Group interactive online workshops.  Live, practical learning alongside other leaders from other organisations, building skills and learning from shared experience.
     

  • Resources for managing difficult discussions.  Checklists and communication aids you can use before and after the conversations that matter.
     

  • One-on-one frameworks. Simple, repeatable frameworks for preparing, structuring and reflecting on tough conversations.
     

  • Performance management ideas.  Practical approaches for raising concerns and managing performance clearly, early and fairly.
     

  • Continued support. Curated resources, recorded webinars and ongoing support across a full 12 months.

Your Coach: Shiv Martin 

You work directly with Shiv Martin, founder of Shiv Martin Consulting. Shiv is a nationally accredited mediator, practising lawyer, conciliator and trainer with more than fifteen years of experience across workplace, commercial and government settings.

Her practice brings together the parts of conflict that senior leaders rarely get to consider together: legal and procedural obligations, the wellbeing of the people involved, and the outcomes the organisation needs.

 

She works across mediation, conciliation, complaints handling, training and facilitation, with a psychology-informed approach to difficult conversations.

That experience shapes how she coaches. Calm, clear and grounded in what works in difficult rooms, rather than in theory.
