Conflict Leadership Skills Workshop

Challenge: Senior leaders were seeking practical tools to manage conflict within their teams. They needed skills to stay calm under pressure, listen effectively, and guide staff through difficult conversations.
 

Solution: Shiv designed and delivered a two-day leadership workshop focused on conflict management and communication skills. Leaders explored the difference between mediation and conciliation, practised reflective listening, questioning, and de-escalation techniques, and built confidence in handling sensitive workplace issues.
 

Outcome: By the end of the program, leaders reported feeling more prepared to support their teams, manage challenging interactions, and promote early, respectful resolution of workplace disputes. They walked away with proven strategies to foster trust, empathy, and a stronger, more collaborative workplace culture.

Online Workshop for Advocates

Challenge: Advocates from across Australia required accessible, practical training in conflict resolution skills and reflective practice to strengthen their ability to handle complex conversations.
 

Solution: Shiv delivered a series of short, high-impact webinars with over 50 participants. Sessions covered negotiation techniques, managing difficult conversations, and understanding different approaches to conflict. To keep the training interactive, Shiv used real case scenarios, polls, breakout rooms, and live discussion, ensuring participants could practise strategies in real time.
 

Outcome: Participants valued the engaging and supportive online format, leaving each webinar with practical tools they could immediately apply in their advocacy work. Many reported improved confidence in handling conflict, de-escalating tense situations, and supporting clients with empathy.
